Mountain Fever Suite
This unique designed hotel room in blockhouse style keeps the spirit of the Rocky Mountains

Have you ever been gripped by mountain fever? Then maybe you know the inner urge to just drop everything and escape from the hectic stress and monotony of everyday life. If you've always secretly longed for a cosy mountain hut, you'll hardly be able to resist this unusual hotel suite in the style of a rustic log cabin in the Rocky Mountains.

However, the authentic experience is complemented by urban furnishings with all conceivable amenities, from a laptop safe and car park with a power outlet to a 24 hour accessible swimming pool, which far surpasses the comfort of accommodation in the mountains.

Wellness lovers with a penchant for the rustic and a touch of a drop-out mentality will be thrilled by this themed room!

Our log cabin suite is not located in the Rocky Mountains, but it certainly conveys the illusion of being there. Every detail has been carefully considered and carefully weighed so that overnight guests can relax in their private 'log cabin'.

The ceiling and walls of round timber beams and a majestic stone fireplace fulfil the most important criteria for a cosy mountain hut of your dreams. The bathtub for two persons has comfortable reclining seats and massage jets for pampering. A large-screen plasma TV in sight allows you to watch the film programme from the comfort of your bathtub.

The whirlpool also has a heating regulator with which the water temperature can be individually adjusted to personal preferences. The decoration with small pine trees, the waterfall in the corner and the view of the window with engraved mountain motif, which separates the whirlpool tub from the shower and sauna, create a special flair in the changing light of the glass fibre lighting.

After the sauna, a generous multi-function shower offers cooling and relaxation. The offer ranges from steam showers, head and hand showers to rain showers that give you the feeling of standing under a waterfall.

All furniture was specially designed for the log cabin suite. The handmade bed with tailor-made mattress convinces with so much comfort that you hardly want to miss it anymore! The second plasma flat screen TV above the fireplace can be viewed either from the bed or from the chair. And for those who want to be up to date at all times, a (third) plasma TV is even available in the bathroom.

After all, what could be more romantic than drinking a glass of wine and cuddling on a soft carpet of fur in front of a crackling fireplace? Have a nice cup of coffee in the morning from Keurig's capsule machine before it's time to leave the'hut' to return to civilization reluctantly. The dream of a cosy log cabin has come true even without mountains. The Rocky Mountains will have to wait!

One night is not enough to take full advantage of this luxurious accommodation. A DVD player, CD player, coffee machine, three plasma TVs, a fridge, microwave and a private bar are just some of the amenities available to guests. Let the log cabin suite inspire you and put all your constraints aside! Nothing less than a time-out from civilization awaits you here.

The outdoor area with covered picnic tables and grills, as well as generous parking spaces (for trucks, boat trailers etc.) with free sockets.

The hotel also has a swimming pool that can be used for swimming at any time, as the pool area is open 24 hours a day, unlike conventional hotels. Tropical trees and plants, warm temperatures and the gentle splash of a waterfall lend the oversized sports pool (8 x 11 metres) a touch of Caribbean flair. A large jacuzzi with massage jets and space for 20 people serves both for regeneration and communication. After all, a steam bath and sauna, which promise unlimited spa pleasures, ensure a full pampering programme.

Next door you can watch TV on one of the 55" flat screens while your kids play under your eyes in the pool or try some of the many slot machines in the game room.

Make Love not War on a converted cannon gun carriage in Transylvania

Military themed Howitzer hotel room | In the world's only howitzer room, overnight guests immediately get the feeling of being on the front line standing their ground | Most of the room is occupied by a gun that aims with the tube from the slit-shaped window and whose mount has been converted into an original bed for leisure warriors. After strenuous adventure activities or strenuous military training in the adjacent theme park, a peaceful sleep is guaranteed
Howitzer Room
This military themed hotel accommodation in Romania brings out heavy ordnance

The Howitzer Room in Transylvania is unique in the world: here, overnight guests immediately have the feeling of being at the front line! Most of the room is occupied by a gun that aims with the tube from the slit-shaped window and whose mount has been converted into an original bed.

The military ambience is accentuated by appropriate wall decorations and typical army furnishing elements. But the martial impression is deceptive: there is neither danger nor the thunder of guns at night from the discarded gun barrel. After strenuous adventure activities or strenuous military training in the adjacent theme park, a restful and peaceful sleep is guaranteed.

The howitzer room is one of the special overnight stays in a military theme park near Sibiu in Romania, which is unparalleled in its kind in Europe.

During the Second World War, the site was the second largest ammunition producer in Europe, and even in Communist times it was considered the most heavily guarded place in the country.

Since its opening in 2009, the amusement park for adventurous leisure warriors and experienced contemporaries has become popular as far as China as a destination for active holidays and teambuilding and is fully booked for groups months in advance.

The resort's own 3-star hotel can accommodate a total of 230 guests. Eccentric tourists have the choice between simple officers' quarters and unusual quarters such as underground bunkers, howitzer rooms or armoured infantry fighting vehicles in which they can stay in style. Without having to do without the amenities of a hotel.

Real adventurers and recreational warriors always push to be in the front line. This is exactly where you find yourself as soon as you open the door to one of the four howitzer rooms. An original night camp on a gun mount, while the gun barrel protrudes threateningly from the sight slit. It's hard to get any closer to what's happening.

A comfortable mattress offers enough space for two people not to get too close together - unless you wish. The stimulating invitation of the Romanian poet Păunescu "Iubiţi-vă pe tunuri!" "("Make love on the cannons") could be taken literally here. The howitzer rooms, in total four can be booked, are equipped with television, heating and a private bathroom.

With around 150 military exhibits, the outdoor area houses the largest military open-air museum in Romania, including tracked tanks, anti-aircraft guns, rocket launchers, military vehicles, or even a military train and a combat helicopter.

The military park covers an area of 88 hectares and offers about 12 km of trails in the middle of a deciduous forest for various activities. There are countless activities to choose from, ranging from the adrenaline kick of a power jump (variant of bungee jumping) from the water tower to exciting rides in tracked vehicles to recreational relaxation in the newly built aqua park with 7 pools.

Attractions await even the youngest, for whom an activity park for children and young people up to 13 years of age has recently been set up.

Skaters and cyclists have access to a skate park and 16 different cycle tracks. If you want to go high, you can prove yourself on the climbing course. The six routes are color-coded according to the level of difficulty. On the most dangerous, the red marked one, one climbs up to 20 meters height. The 600-metre long rope slide (Zipline), with which you can race down from a height of 45 metres, is also popular.

There is also an artificial ice rink, tennis courts, game rooms, mini golf, a fitness room and the possibility of military training under real conditions. This also includes shooting training with real ammunition. You can improve your aiming skills in archery or in a group with paintball or airsoft rifles simulating an indoor guerrilla fight with a helmet and full camouflage.

Those who still have enough energy in the evening can watch a film in the open air cinema, visit the program in the amphitheatre or exchange stories around the campfire. It's time for barbecues, music and fun. The culmination of an eventful day full of sport and adventure is the dinner in the "Officer's mess". The park restaurant with two terraces and field seating offers healthy and inexpensive food.

Cinema Loge Suite
World-wide unique: overnight stay with movie theater access in Switzerland

From the bedroom directly to the cinema and vice versa - to make that dream come true, either you have to have magical abilities or you go to Switzerland.

A film experience world with a hotel in the canton of Aarau fulfils the dream of cineasts: nowhere else is it possible to watch a film in pyjamas and then fall into bed straight away, or take a nap between two films.

Four unusual themed rooms are available for this Europe-wide unique cinema experience of a special kind. The guest only needs to step through the discreet door in the corner of the room and he is already in his private box in a cinema with 230 seats.

Electronically adjustable cinema armchairs, free drinks from the minibar and an audio technology that is way ahead of its time make this visit to the cinema a real key experience.

A total of four such rooms are available, which are suitable for cult films such as' Harry Potter',' Lord of the Rings',' James Bond 007' and' Pirates of the Caribbean', and in addition offer direct access to the private loggia in the large cinema hall via a connecting door.

The film programme, which is shown daily from 3 pm onwards, can be watched there free of charge on two electronically adjustable armchairs. In the evening you can make yourself comfortable in the luxury private box, even in your pajamas, and fall directly into bed after the credits.

The cinema has an innovative loudspeaker system that puts the audience right in the middle of the action.

Only here can you experience the sound of a new Dolby Atmos sound system equipped with groundbreaking Fohhn loudspeakers. A 64-channel system enables sound that has never before been heard in the cinema.

The bass makes the armchairs vibrate and the sounds are so amazingly lifelike, as if the helicopters in the film were actually flying around you and hitting the bullets right next to the seat.

The current movies can be requested in the week of booking from Monday afternoon via the contact button or via the provider's live chat. As a hotel guest of a lodge accommodation you can watch every day from 3 pm on every movie from the program for room 5 in your personal cinema box office.

The differently designed rooms are each equipped with a box spring bed, a large bathroom, desk and a flat screen TV with satellite channels. The well-assorted mini-bar contains various drinks such as prosecco, beer and non-alcoholic soft drinks, which are available free of charge. The overnight price also includes a rich breakfast buffet.

Unfortunately, no extra beds or children are allowed in the film room (as films with an age rating are also included in the programme). You also have to be older than 26 years if you want to be pampered by the team of the hotel restaurant in the cinema balcony lounge (can be booked on request).

In the pleasant atmosphere of Kinsaal 2 you will enjoy an excellent dinner before the film. At the beginning of the film you simply turn on the comfortable leather armchair to the screen. During the performance break a delicious dessert is finally served.

Access to the' Vip-Lounge' with furniture made of wood, fur and artificial fire is also reserved exclusively for Lodge guests and Member Card holders, where you can relax with cocktails and snacks before and after the cinema presentation.

The entire entertainment complex with several restaurants, bars, a brewery and a bowling center has been designed in the style of a busy international airport. In the entrance hall there is a' departure board' with the current film titles, and the asphalted foyer is reminiscent of a runway.

The cinemas camouflage themselves as terminals or gates, the box offices resemble check-in and the kiosk looks like a duty-free shop. Even cinema tickets have consequently the form of a boarding pass. And while visiting the A-la-carte restaurant (70 seats), guests will find themselves in the fuselage of a U52 aircraft, where they can travel around the world on comfortable aircraft seats, at least in a culinary way.

The hotel is barely more than 30 kilometres away from Zurich, so that after the brilliant overnight experience, a detour or an extended stay in the Swiss capital is also possible.

Spectacular hotel room with open-air mode for stargazer

Cabriolet Suite near Bergamo (Italy) | Heavenly hotel stay in the vineyards with convertible roof that opens at the push of a button | Romantic nights under the Italian starry sky in Lombardy | Experience the magic when the roof slowly opens above the bed and allows viewing the stars | This Suite is the first choice if you want to combine closeness to nature and romance with the amenities of a luxurious hotel
Cabriolet Suite
Luxurious open air hotel suite under the starry night sky of Italy

At the touch of a button, the sunroof opens slowly to reveal the view of the night sky. What sounds like a ride in the new sports car with a folding top, turns out to be a spectacular hotel room in open-air mode.

Those who have always dreamed of spending the night under an open starry sky without having to compromise on comfort and safety will find that in this secluded suite in the midst of idyllic vineyards just a few kilometres from Milan all the requirements are met.

The Cabrio Suite is the first choice if you want to combine closeness to nature, romance and luxury. With the surprise at the touch of a button, you will not only succeed in making a romantic expression of love to your unsuspecting partner. At the same time you prove your sense of originality and timing. After all, what better way to spend a night in a 5-star Italian hotel than to gaze at the sparkling starry sky from your bed in intimate togetherness?

Within a few seconds, the ceiling over the bed can be pushed aside on a rail construction. The magic of this amazing device can hardly be described and certainly cannot be compared to a secular window.

The allure is revealed while lying down, when the view upwards does not end at the ceiling of the room, but moon and stars attract attention. Then you feel as if you are on the bridge of a spaceship, which has lowered the shield on its star mission through the 'infinite expanses'.

The inflowing smells and the soothing sound of the cicadas leave no doubt about the Mediterranean character of the surroundings. At the push of a button, nature can also be locked out if it gets cooler or prevents the unusual impressions from sleeping.

The winged doors to the balcony can also be opened wide, which is practically invisible due to a clever recess in the tiled roof of the tower, but still offers a view over the lush green slopes of the surrounding vineyards. Situated in the middle of an old park, the Lombardy villa, consisting of five different 19th century buildings, was turned 20 years ago into a luxurious hotel with 57 refined rooms and suites.

The 30-square-metre Convertible Suite, however, is unique and has a marble bathroom with hydromassage bathtub and multifunctional shower. If you want to be pampered all round, you will find a comprehensive wellness offer in the hotel's huge medical spa area that meets all your requirements. The house also has a swimming pool, sauna and concierge service. The room is equipped with a minibar, air conditioning and free internet (Wifi).

After a fascinating night under a starry sky and a cosy breakfast on the terrace, the centuries-old property invites you to linger or go for a walk. The hotel's own sculpture park and botanical garden deserve special attention.

On request, the guests of the family-run country villa can receive an exclusive guided tour of the hotel's own winery' Bellavista' with subsequent tasting in one of the wine cellars. The region is also known as the Italian' Champagne' because it is famous for the quality of its sparkling wines.

But the hotel with its antique salons and elegant rooms also offers culinary delights: just a few steps away from the winery, the kitchen with bistro and awarded restaurant offers important trump cards to delight gourmets.

Torre Prendiparte Apartment
Once in a lifetime experience: this medieval skyscraper in Bologna creates the perfect setting for a romantic overnight stay

From sixty metres above sea level, the privileged guests of this medieval gender tower can enjoy a unique view of Bologna, which will be remembered with enthusiasm and indelibility. A dizzying 12-storey ascent leads to the panoramic terrace above the roofs of the old town.

The tower, which was once used as a retreat and defence in the event of an attack by enemy factions, has been fiercely contested for centuries and is now reserved for all those who appreciate the uniqueness of this historic site and want to experience emotional moments.

The love of detail, antique furniture and exclusive design create the perfect setting for a romantic experience or a special highlight in life, such as an engagement or the signing of an important project.

Much is conceivable in the impregnable bulwark of an old Bolognese noble family, which already found a safe refuge here in the 16th century and demonstrated its social advancement by means of this medieval "skyscraper".

Situated in the middle of Bologna's centre, but also hidden in the maze of streets and narrow alleys, the building is one of the few remaining gender towers of formerly over a hundred that once towered above the city's roofs. Most of them disappeared over the centuries in the course of fights and family feuds, were eventually dismantled or made room for private inner courtyards or simply fell victim to modernization.

The restoration of the original plastering in the former dungeons of the upper floors brought to light forgotten inscriptions and hand drawings. All twelve floors were adequately illuminated and made accessible comfortably and safely via stairs.

The furnishings of the first three storeys, which form the habitable part of the tower suite, were carefully selected and fit in their simplicity with the original and original structure of the building.

The furnishings reflect the taste of the nineteenth century, when the lower part of the building served as a residential building after the removal of some walls and the installation of windows.

The careful restoration of the rooms and sophisticated lighting technology has resulted in an individual city apartment with a personal touch. The many details give the guest the feeling of being "at home". Ancient fireplaces, picturesque views from the windows and a stone spiral staircase connect the succession of floors from the 16th century, offering new discoveries and perspectives one floor at a time.

The rooms are ideal for two persons, but can accommodate up to four guests. At the beginning, overnight guests will be given a guided tour with interesting information about the family history of the builders, the city during the time of the aristocratic feuds and about the construction technique and functioning of the tower as a defensive or fortress building. On the way to the top, rooms and floors that were once used as a prison by the Archbishop of Bologna are still preserved unchanged.

Arrived at the top, the hosts say goodbye with a welcome drink on the panoramic terrace at a height of 60 meters. An overwhelming view compensates for the strenuous ascent and forms the spectacular prelude to a tower stay, which will undoubtedly remain unforgettable.

From EUR 550,- per night for 2 persons with breakfast

Vintage Railway Hotel in reconstructed Tsar's train coaches with steam engine

Tsar's Train Suite in Poland | On disused railway track of a historic train station in the Bialowieza forest, a steam locomotive in combination with four luxurious saloon cars awaits overnight guests, who can travel far in the east of Poland on a journey back in time to the beginning of the 20th century, when the Russian tsars stayed here for hunting | Stay here for a real out-of-the-world overnight experience!
Tsar's Train Suite
Unique Railway Hotel in Poland with a touch of Orient-Express

A visit by Tsar Nikolaus II. on the edge of the Bialowieza forest in 1903 was the reason for the construction of a wooden station building, which today not only houses an excellent gourmet restaurant of the Polish-Russian cuisine but also attracts attention through an unusual hotel business.

On the station's disused railway track, a steam locomotive in combination with four luxurious saloon cars awaits overnight guests, who can travel far in the east of Poland on a journey back in time to the beginning of the 20th century.

The train is reminiscent of several stays of the Russian tsars who stayed here for hunting. Each railway carriage forms an independent suite, whose furnishings are enchanted by nostalgic furniture, lamps, paintings and photographs from the turn of the last century. The ensemble resembles the style of the trains with which the tsar's family used to travel to Bialowieza.

The jungle of Bialowieza on the border to Belarus has been popular with German and Russian rulers as a hunting ground for centuries.

Today, the extensive forest complex forms the last remaining lowland forest in Europe and is protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and Biosphere Reserve. The National Park is home to 450 bison, one of the largest wildlife species in the protected area and one of the most impressive forest inhabitants.

The unspoilt nature is only one of many reasons to visit this remote region in the east of Poland. In this neighborhood, the overnight stay in the train hotel 'Tsar's Gold' with its four heated railway carriages is another highlight, where not only railway nostalgics get their money's worth. The comfortably equipped saloon cars form a complete train behind a Russian steam locomotive, just as the Romanovs used it for their hunting and recreational stays.

At the end of the 19th century, Tsar Alexander III had transferred the former state forest to his private property and travelled for the first time in 1894 to Bialowieza, where he commissioned the construction of a palace with 120 rooms. It was also his last trip. His son and successor Tsar Nicholas II. spent a total of six stays in the jungle region between 1894 and 1915. In spite of the seclusion, the Tsar's family was, of course, provided with a caterer's food, which even today's overnight guests do not have to do without.

In the historical reception building of the station there is an excellent restaurant with special attention to Polish and Russian cuisine. As in the past, game dishes are on the menu. The tasteful interior design of the upscale restaurant consists, as befits itself in such a place, of original furnishings from the tsarist era and faithfully reflects the character of those years down to the last detail.

With less than 60 inhabitants per square kilometre, the wild east of Poland is the least populated region in the country. However, the multi-ethnic inhabitants have left a cultural wealth worth seeing. Belorussians, Ukrainians, Lithuanians and Tartars in particular still live as minorities in the country. With the forced affiliation to Russia after the three Polish divisions, Russian banya has also become a traditional element of eastern well-being in many households.

This is a bathing house with a steam bath, which is very similar to the Finnish sauna, but with temperatures that can easily exceed 100°C. It is also possible to have a steam bath in the sauna. Such a Russian banya with a recreation room in a rustic style is also available exclusively to the hotel guests of the tsar wagons for a surcharge. Since the sauna house is heated by a wood-burning stove, it must be reserved at least 6 hours in advance. The Banja visit, which lasts several hours, costs around 50 euros.

From the extensive range of leisure activities, the organized carriage and sleigh rides in the surrounding area are particularly popular, as well as the in-house bicycle rental for individual bike tours on designated trails through the national park.

The tsar apartments in the saloon cars are equipped with heating and private bathrooms with shower and hot water, so that a comfortable stay is guaranteed even in the winter months.

The unique interior with parquet flooring and a double bed was designed from the wall design to the furnishings in true detail to the period of Anna Karenina. On 28 square metres of living space you will find everything a luxury hotel room has to offer. In addition to the desk, seating area and nostalgic accessories, the hotel carriages also have modern amenities such as a mini-bar, flat-screen TV (with cable channels), radio, hairdryer, coffee and tea accessories as well as free W-Lan.

The unusual accommodation impresses with its romantic location in the woods, loving details of furnishings, wooden architecture, historical atmosphere and exquisite cuisine, which is one of the best in Poland. With unforgettable natural impressions, relaxation and culinary enjoyment, it is hardly possible to bring past tsarist glamour into harmony.

Extravagant designed adult-only hotel suite brings ancient ages to life

Fonte Ninfa Suite in Italy takes you to the palace of Numa Pompilius | The legendary second king of Rome is said to have sought the advice of a nymph in a grotto. According to Ovid they fell in love, and after the kings death the nymph dissolved into tears and turned into a miraculous source | This ancient history served as inspiration for a luxurious hotel accommodation with amazing effects and enchanting flair
Fonte Ninfa Suite
An ancient myth by Ovid inspired this extravagant themed suite in Italy

This dreamlike themed suite in Turin takes you to the palace of Numa Pompilius. The legendary second king of Rome is said to have sought the advice of a nymph in a grotto. That this was not the end of the story can be read in Ovid's book, according to which the mermaid dissolved into tears after the death of her royal lover and turned into a miraculous source.

Water is therefore also the defining element of this opulent accommodation with private outdoor pool, steam sauna, jacuzzi and aroma shower. The magical presence of the love-crazed nymph is conjured up by enchanting music and light scenarios that can be controlled via touchscreen technology.

The extravagant wellness suite 'Fonte Egeria' takes its guests back about 2700 years to the reign of Roman King Numa Pompilius. According to the story, he met a nymph at night in a cave outside the Porta di San Sebastiano to discuss the fate of the Roman Empire and fell for it.

There are countless myths inspired by this magical story. According to Ovid, after the death of her royal lover, the nymph retreated in tearful mourning to Aricia, where she turned from pain into the spring of Egeria, whose clear water was said to have healing powers.

A similarly soothing place for body and soul is offered by our Spa Suite in Turin, named after the fabulous Source-Spirit. Fullness and luxury of a real Roman villa are waiting for the guests. Of course, water plays an important role, which flows from several small sources and flows over a large area in the room.

The marble floor, the columns monumental and the ceilings extravagantly casetted, this is how the expansive bed presents itself under the artificial starry sky.

In addition to a salt room with a steam sauna and chromatic shower, luxurious bathing and swimming pools ensure pleasant pleasures and relaxing delectation. The mixture of modern amenities and antique opulence seems to have emerged from the grand ideas of the most capable architects of the Roman era. The perfect place to escape the present in pairs and spend a fabulous night in ancient Rome. The time is ripe for a Roman adventure!

The illusion is supported by specially composed sound and light scenarios whose effect is condensed into sensual experiences through the use of smells, fog and other effects. The desired program is selected via a touch screen monitor, a simple touch is all it takes. The music and scenario control is intuitive and can be easily adapted to different needs.

The extravagant spa suite is equipped with a mini-bar, a coffee pad machine, air conditioning and an LCD flat screen TV and has access to a private terrace. It also has an en-suite bathroom with bathrobes, slippers and a Jacuzzi. Coffee and mineral water are available free of charge.

The hotel facilities include a wellness area with whirlpool, steam bath, colour light therapy and a Turkish bath. A free parking space is reserved for you as a guest on the hotel grounds. The centre of Turin can be reached after a 30-minute walk from your accommodation. All you have to do is book and come. Turin and its love-filled nymph await you!
