70 metres above the city roofs, a luxury suite in Prague's TV tower sets new hotel standards

Although hardly any other building surpasses its ugliness, the Prague television tower Žižkov in the noble district of Vinohrady scores with a special attraction among wealthy tourists: a six-star hotel with only one suite, which promises not only 100% privacy but also the perfect view over the Vltava metropolis!

Only from the luxurious accommodation at a height of just under 70 metres can the entire city be seen without the 216-metre-high building disturbing the incomparable view from the communist era.

The high romantic factor of the 80 square metre'One Room Hotel' is explained not least by its privileged location on the east side, where not the most famous landmarks of the Golden City are located, but in the morning the sunrise can be observed from the bed.

Under the premise of 'seeing without being seen', the free-standing Jacuzzi in front of the wide window front of the light-flooded suite, whose extravagance deserves a secure place among the most unusual hotels in the Czech Republic. Those who want to go high and can afford it, will experience an amazing night in the TV tower of Prague.

The chauffeur-driven limousine service included in the overnight price quickly fades into the background in view of the breathtaking glance from the panoramic windows of the unusual tower residence.

Especially after nightfall, the bird's eye view of the sparkling lights of the Golden City creates a special fascination. Prague is literally at the feet of the guests of the One Room Hotel. Even from the bed and even when bathing in the free-standing designer tub, the sea of houses in the Czech capital is always present as an impressive backdrop for an unforgettable stay.

Surrounded by the latest technology and professional staff, you are alone in the tower from midnight, when the restaurant and observation deck are closed. Not a roommate you can meet in the hallway, and not someone you could disturb. Up here, guests enjoy unrestricted privacy and fool's freedom. Seeing without being seen (or heard) - a privilege that goes hand in hand with every conceivable comfort.

The suite itself is equipped with an expansive bed with hand-sewn horsehair covers from the Swedish Hästanes brand and features trendy furnishings and a simple design that invites you to relax and unwind. A variety of modern amenities, from the walk-in'wardrobe' to the Nespresso machine, make every stay an experience in a class of its own.

On 80 square meters of living space with parquet flooring and polished precious wood panelling, a high-quality Hi-Fi system from Bose, an iPod docking station and a large-screen LCD television provide entertainment at the highest level. The integrated computer and free Wifi leave nothing to be desired.

The glazed bathroom with the exposed whirlpool and care products from L'Occitane surprises with unique details such as a multimedia mirror with over 100 programmed TV channels or a heated towel rail, which makes getting out of the jacuzzi as comfortable as the cozy bathrobes available.

The service includes an exemplarily sorted mini bar and the services of a private butler. The welcome dinner is served either directly in the room or one floor below in the tower restaurant, which serves Asian, French and Czech dishes on the menu. Hotel guests can book their preferred seats with spectacular views in the restaurant or at the bar. If you prefer the intimacy of your own four walls and want to spend more time in the suite, you can use the room service or have some sandwiches quickly packed at the bar.

Access to the One Room Hotel comes via the ground floor, where an elevator takes you to the exclusive residential podium in less than 30 seconds. In the other capsules there is a bar and restaurant, a reception and a public viewpoint (with costs).

Since 2001, gigantic baby sculptures have been crawling up the three elevator columns of the television tower, which was completed in 1992 after 7 years of construction, and which was chosen by an American travel portal as the second ugliest building on the planet. The inhabitants of Prague have long since taken this unconventional art installation to their hearts and have also come to terms with the unloved tower.

The attractive location near the Rierger Park and the memorial site on Vitkov Hill even has a higher density of shops, restaurants, cafés and bars in the immediate vicinity of the TV tower than the city centre of Prague, which is only a few minutes away.
