This thematically designed hotel suite in Styria (Austria) is based on a traditional hunting lodge
'Hunter' and 'deer' in this unusual adventure room in Styria await a productive hunting ground for a merry hunt. From the hunting trophy on the wall to the toilet on the high-seat, the suite offers the perfect setting for a successful hunt to blow off the Halali.
In these four walls you can tell your chosen high-seat partner as much Hunter-Latin as you like. In the end, success is all that counts - and a comfortable bed, where all hunting efforts are rewarded by putting on the compliant 'booty'.
Poaching is also allowed as an exception, because the only witness of the lively activity is a (crowded) capercaillie.
In this themed room, also passionate occasional hunters without a hunting licence are allowed to take up the trail, and there is no need to fear controls by the hunting authorities. Thus one can dedicate oneself (or woman) completely unscrupulously to the difficult hunt for the most capital deer on the highest of all mountains.
The 'territory' is manageable, and success is only a matter of time. The view is best maintained from the hunting pulpit, which can be reached via a ladder. High above, instead of the usual field, forest and meadow solutions, an original toilet is waiting for you!
The forest ranger fortune also includes wood-panelled walls with roe-deer antlers, a birch trunk with branches as high as the ceiling and a bed in log-house style.
The 'state parlour' also gains authentic flair with nostalgic details such as green loden hats, an old black dial telephone or a picturesque bird house. As a very special luxury, the 'hunting society' has its own whirltub for relaxing breaks.
The unusual accommodation in the family-run hotel is one of a total of 19 nostalgic themed accommodations with an accentuated rustic atmosphere and different experience characteristics. Thematically everything revolves around the 'good old days', which are kept alive with loving memories of special moments from the Styrian past.
The rooms invite you to get away from everyday life and discover a lost world without hectic pace and conformity. The hotel itself was built using historical elements. Even the furnishings are mostly made of old wood, which comes from our own carpentry workshop. The concept for the playful hotel rooms was also developed there.
To the comfortable furnishings of the room belong hairdryer, satellite TV, radio and CD player including cuddly skirt CD and further attentions such as a kettle with several kinds of tea, bath salts, bathrobe and slippers, as well as free care products.
Available upon reservation is the wellness area of the hotel with steam sauna, Finnish sauna and an infrared cabin. The offer also includes spa treatments such as "couple romance", deep muscular relaxation, spinal wellness and massages (all for an extra charge).
The overnight price contains a hearty breakfast buffet including several kinds of bread rolls, fresh bread, ham, sausage, cheese, various spreads, muesli, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, jams, Nutella and cakes. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by a warm welcome with sparkling wine.
Who already knows Styria will probably have made yet acquaintance with the excellent cuisine and the traditional restaurants. Those who are here for the first time should definitely use the stay for a culinary excursion. Many restaurants in the region even offer helicopter service from Vienna and other major cities.
